1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Bear Bite ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Bear Bite is a calorie tracking app that uses AI to recognize food from photos and estimate nutritional content. The App includes streak tracking, social features, and gamification elements to help you build healthy habits.
3. AI Calorie Estimation — Important Notice
- !Calorie and macro estimates are approximate and may not be accurate
- !This is NOT medical or dietary advice — consult a professional for health decisions
- !AI recognition may misidentify foods or portion sizes
- !Use the App as a general guidance tool, not a precise measurement
4. User Responsibilities
- • You are responsible for the photos you upload
- • You must not use the App for any illegal purposes
- • You must not abuse social features (harassment, spam, etc.)
5. Social Features
- • Friends, leaderboards, and challenges are optional features
- • Your display name and progress are visible to your friends
- • We may remove users who violate community guidelines
6. Subscription Terms
Billing
- • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- • Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Cancellation
- • You can cancel your subscription at any time in App Store settings
- • Access continues until the end of the current paid period
- • No refunds for partial subscription periods
7. Intellectual Property
Bear Bite and all related trademarks, logos, and content are the property of plane4bear. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bear Bite and plane4bear shall not be liable for:
- • Inaccurate calorie or nutrition estimates
- • Health decisions made based on the App's information
- • Temporary unavailability of the service
- • Loss of streak or progress data
- • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
