Authenticator 2FA – Ring is an iOS app for generating and storing TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) codes for two-factor authentication. The app is designed with privacy as a core principle — it has no servers, no accounts, and all your data stays on your device.
● Information We Collect
Camera Access
- →Used exclusively for scanning QR codes when adding new accounts
- ✓No photos or videos are captured, stored, or transmitted
- ✓Camera is only active during QR scanning
Biometric Data (Face ID)
- →Used to protect access to the app
- ✓Handled entirely by iOS LocalAuthentication framework
- ✓The app never receives, processes, or stores biometric data
TOTP Secrets
- →Secret keys, account names, and issuers you add
- ✓Stored in iOS Keychain protected by Secure Enclave
- ✓Never leave your device or transmitted over the network
Local Preferences
- ✓Last-used timestamps for recent codes sorting
- ✓Folder structure, card colors, and icon preferences
- ✓All stored locally on your device
Subscription Data (via Adapty)
- →Device ID (internal, non-advertising) and purchase information
- →Used to manage your subscription status
- ✓IDFA collection is disabled

● Your Rights

● Data Security
- • All secrets are encrypted and stored in iOS Keychain / Secure Enclave
- • No proprietary servers or cloud storage
- • No data is transmitted over the network (except Adapty for subscriptions)
- • App is protected by Face ID at launch
● Children's Privacy
Authenticator 2FA – Ring is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
